Panda Antivirus Mini Review
Panda Antivirus 2007 might be for you if like an easy install and simple interface controls. The 36.5 MB download took right at 30 minutes to install and configure. It did a little pre-install scan and wiped out 19 cookies. It then installed and updated it’s virus definitions all in the 30 minutes.
The down side for me is that it treats cookies like they were just about all bad. I usually run open to all cookies and never hardly delete any. There is just way to much negative hype against cookies nowadays. It seems like all the security utility sellers profit from scaring you.
Being a little tech orientated a little more control would suite me. It seems geared toward the set it and forget it crowd which will probably make it a success. I like more settings to adjust.
Later I decided to do a full scan to see how that was and it ran very smoothly. The only problem for me was the alarmist, "The viruses detected have been neutralized!", in red no less.

The 3 infected system file were adware that needed to go. The 239 "viruses" that were Disinfected were all cookies except for two test viruses that I got from eicar to try Panda out.
I can recommend Panda Antivirus 2007 if you are in the set and forget it group, but as for me the quest continues for one that really suites me. Get more details on Panda Software Anti-Virus Products. Here is a link that gives you a Panda Antivirus 2007 – $5 Discount Coupon.
It’s fairly priced at $29.95 without the coupon and you can put it on two machines.
